About the company

John's Tours started April 1990, as a family run business in Stowmarket, Suffolk.

John and Kevin Cresswell, a father and son team run John’s Tours, with help in the office by Jill, John's wife.

John has always had a childhood dream to own his own coach, and after many years driving for other companies he decided to start John's Tours. 

Over the years since starting, the company has grown to be a well-established name in Stowmarket and has expanded to be known throughout East Anglia. In recent years the company has received recognition by receiving the official usage of the town crest to be displayed on all the coaches.

Kevin's driving experience started with HGV lorries, taking him all over the UK and into Europe. The starting of John's Tours allowed Kevin's knowledge of the roads in the UK and Europe to be most helpful in the designing of all tours and excursions.

And like his father Kevin follows a family tradition of driving buses and coaches, a tradition that goes back four generations. 

 Over the years the coaches have changed according to the needs of the passengers, comfort and styles of the coaches have improved making coach travel a relaxing experience. The coach below is one of three coaches in today's fleet to offer comfort and style.
